#14 The World Values Study
I was surprised by the results. Normally, most people would associate happiness rate with their financial situation. This short story reminded me of Brave New World that I'm reading in English class. People are so caught up in being happy that they can't have fun, or enjoy their lives for once. I do believe, however, that money is a necessary factor in one's happiness. If one was under huge debt, they would be too busy stressing about money to have fun and be happy. The question is, just how much money do we need to enjoy our lives without being controlled by the cash? It seems we can't get enough things to make us feel satisfied.
